Our Process

We Don’t Start by Building Your Website. We Start by Understanding Your Business.

You already know your business. You know your customers, your services, your industry, your competition, and what makes your company different. You don’t need to become an expert in websites, SEO, or AI search — that’s our job. Our job is to understand where your business is today, where you want it to go, and what your digital presence needs to do to help you get there.

You bring the business expertise. We bring the digital expertise.

Discovery

First, We Need to Understand What We’re Building.

Before we talk about design, pages, SEO, or technology, we need to understand you. Our discovery meeting is a conversation guided by a detailed questionnaire designed to uncover things that a generic website project would never ask.

We’ll learn things like:

Who are your direct competitors?
Who competes with you indirectly?
What makes your business different?
Who are you trying to reach?
What services or products do you want to grow?
What parts of your current website do you actually like?
Is there anything you absolutely want to keep?
Do you already work with a graphic designer or have existing branding we should work with?
Where do you want your business to be six months, two years, or five years from now?

And sometimes, the answer is as simple as:

“I like the way my current website is structured. I just want it to look and work like it should today.”

That’s useful information too.

There is no “right” answer. We want to understand what matters to you before we recommend anything.

Then We Go Do Our Homework.

After the discovery meeting, we take everything you’ve told us and start looking at the business from the outside. We’ll investigate what matters for your particular industry and market with executive-level precision.

Proposal

Your Proposal Is More Than a Price. It’s a Picture of Where Your Business Could Go.

After we’ve learned about your business and completed our research, we build your proposal around what we believe will make the biggest difference. We’ll explain why we’re recommending each part, what we expect it to accomplish, and how it fits into the bigger picture.

Development

No Templates. No “Swap the Logo and Call It Yours.”

Your website is built in code, around the architecture, content, functionality, and goals established during the planning process. We don’t take a template, replace the colors, change the logo, and call it a custom website.

Ongoing Partnership

Launching Your Website Is Where the Real Work Starts.

Once your website is live, we don’t simply hand you the login and disappear.

Your business changes. Your industry changes. Search changes. Your competitors change. And your customers’ questions change.

So your digital presence needs to change too.

We continue working on your:

Website

Maintenance, updates, improvements, new sections, promotions, announcements, seasonal content, community involvement, and anything else your business needs to communicate.

SEO

We continuously improve content, headings, pages, images, videos, blogs, and other elements based on what we’re seeing in search.

AI Search Optimization

We continue developing and refining the information and content that helps AI systems understand your business.

Performance

We monitor how your site and search presence are performing and share that progress with you.

Every month, you should know where you stand and what we’re doing next.

You Don’t Need to Become an Expert in This.

You’re already an expert at what you do. You focus on running your business. We’ll focus on making sure your business is represented properly online.
